If you are like me, then you downloaded and installed the new Tweetdeck after Twitter took over. If you are also like me, then you have found that you hate it. For some reason, Twitter felt the need to take a great product and trash it.
And now that you’ve upgraded, you can’t go back. But have no fear, I have the install file for you. Download Tweetdeck 0.38.2. If for some reason you don’t have it, then you’ll need to download and install Adobe Air first.
A big thanks to David Amador for finding and posting the download file.
If you have any issues installing it, then you should remove your current version and then install this version.
Hope this helps!

My name is Adam Williams and these are my musings and observations about brand and product marketing. I hope you'll join the conversation.

Thank you! I was forced to upgrade (new primary hard drive) and cannot believe how terrible the new system is. Are there some pretty GUI things… maybe… but to start making people add clicks and taking away core functionality was a bizarre decision!
The worst function was moving a 1-click follow option to making users not only click a drop down menu and scroll to select the follow option, but then have to wait while the new Tweetdeck version loaded account profiles.
Tweetdeck’s success / brand was based on the fact that the program worked really, really well. Thanks so much for the download link so I could “recover” from the upgrade!
Hey Julie, I’m glad I could help. I was so frustrated myself and don’t understand why they made it more difficult to use.
